AD, Double Sealing Function Aseptic Single Disk Socket Valve means. With this type of valve, two incompatible environments in pipe lines (e.g. CIP and product) can be separated without mixing. This is achieved by two separate seals with an open air gap between them that allows detection and elimination of potential leaks. The P 3 diaphragm prevents the lifting effect and its potential negative impact on the product.

Additionally, the leak chamber can be externally washed with two valves installed on both sides.

Valve position "Closed"

• Two incompatible environments are separated without mixing (e.g. CIP and product)
• Wash/leak valves are opened by spring force
• Potential leaks are detected and eliminated

Valve position "Open"

• Upper and lower lines connected
• Wash/leak valve is closed by air pressure
• Recommended flow direction during closing procedure (see arrows)
